Sketch of S. Nicholas with the children

S. Nicholas saves the children from a brine barrel

The church of S. Nicholas in Plumstead, south east London, has been a place of worship for well over a thousand years. Today it continues to thrive, serving the local community much as it has in centuries past.

Welcome to our website, which was launched on Pentecost Sunday 2011. It is still under construction and development. If a page you select is not complete, please come back to check that page in the near future as updates will be taking place all the time.

We are hoping to extend the Parish History and develop an archive of parish life over the years. If you have photographs or newspaper articles (particularly war-damage) we would much appreciate copies. Please email parish.history@saintnicholasplumstead.org.

Thank you for visiting the web site, and may God richly bless you.
